Ethio-Djibouti Railway

The management and staff of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics and the associated institutions finished the four-day “Ke Eda wode Menda “(Amharic) training session;


December 17, 2023: Respondent institutions under the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, including the Ethio-Djibouti Railway, completed the four-day training program they were providing under the title of “Ke Eda wode Menda “(Amharic) , from December 12 to December 15, 2016.

The program focuses on the areas where developing a common story can help us achieve national prosperity and build a strong state. Furthermore, it focused on the circumstances in which it is feasible to create, gather, and oversee prosperity in order to utilize our nation’s potential human and natural resources for the prosperity of the nation.

Given that the public sector plays a major role in the development of the country, civil servants ought to be aware of this and use technology to deliver prompt, effective service.

During the training, there was a discussion about how we should promote peace because it is the cornerstone of prosperity for all people.

Prosperity Party trainee leaders and members from the Ministry of Transport and Logistics and the respondent institutions actively participated in the forum and raised their opinions and questions.

The Minister of State for Transport and Logistics H.E Mr. Denge Boru, Chief Executive Officer of Ethio-Djibuti Railway Abdi Zenebe (PHD), General Director of Public Transport Service, Mrs. Frehiwot Doracha, and Chief Executive Officer of Road Safety and Insurance Fund Service H.E Abbaso gave an explanation for questions and comments.

Lastly, a summary was provided by Honorable Alemu Seme (Dr.), Minister of Transport and Logistics.

His Excellency Alemu Seme (Dr.) stated in his closing remarks that Ethiopia will become a model for Africa if an effective national image is developed.

After completing the course, the trainees committed to follow up Ethiopia’s prosperity path and accepted the faith that had been placed in them.
