Two hundred heavy machinery and trucks are planned to be transported from the port of Djibouti.

February 15, 2024 (EDR):  Ethio-Djibouti Railway (EDR) is planned to transport two hundred heavy machinery and trucks from the port of Djibouti.

Ethio Djibouti Railway, which is expanding its service scope, has started transporting machinery and heavy truks for the first time based on the desire and capacity to transport new loads in addition to the regular cargo it has been providing in the past years.

It is remembered that it was able to transport small trucks successfully for the first time, and it has been possible to improve the cargo service by transporting various machinery, including heavy trucks.

This week, three graders used for road infrastructure construction were loaded from the Nagad (BCC) yard.

The graders are expected to arrive at the Indode freight station by the end of this week.

For the past five years, Ethio-Djibuti Railway has been supporting our country’s import and export business by introducing new services and satisfying the needs of its customers.
