Ethio-Djibouti Railway

Ethio-Djibouti railway has 20 stations in Ethiopia and Djibouti, now we opened 10 stations for passenger service, they are Lebu, Bishoftu, Modjo, Adama, Mieso,Bike, Dire Dawa,Denwalee, Ali Sabieh and Nagad. We have opened five stations to give different kind of freight services they are Indodie, Modjo, Adama, Dire Dawa and Nagad. Soon we will be increasing our offers and services step by step and keep you updated.

Once we open a new station, we will upgrade the travel fare and train schedule accordingly. We are also committed to social and environmental responsibility, as we use renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar power, to operate our railway. We also create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and promote regional integration and cooperation.

Sebeta Station

The railway begins at Sebata station, which is intended to serve as an intermediate station to provide both passenger and freight service. The station will start giving passenger service by 2024.

Lebu station is the second railway station, it is intended to give passenger service. The station also serves as the Head Quarter office of the company.

The third station along the operation line, which serves as an intermediate station for both passenger and freight service. The station is also equipped with many workshops to serve as a maintenance hub of EDR.
